Types of Grants Available
The Holley Museum of Military History is now located in a
public venue at the Ramada Hotel in Downtown Topeka, Kansas.
The museum is housed in three separate galleries. Each of
these galleries is named for a world leader. The three galleries
are named for Dwight D. Eisenhower, Ronald Reagan and Winston
Churchill.
Grants for these galleries have already been received and
these galleries have been completed and are open to the public
from 10 AM to 8 PM seven days a week. There is no fee to view
the artifacts.
The museum is now accepting grants for two additional galleries
to house the nearly 2000 artifacts in storage that are ready
for display. A grant in the amount of $10,000 will secure
the sponsorship of one of these galleries. A grant of $5,000
combined with a matching gift from another funding source
can also sponsor a gallery.
The next two galleries will be named for Franklin D. Roosevelt
and Harry S. Truman.
Other needs for the museum include, additional display cases,
including two walk-in cases, at $2,000. each. Grants of any
amount will be welcome by the museum. Funding groups will
be recognized throughout the museum, as they request.
The Holley Museum of Military History is affiliated with
the Topeka Community Foundation and their Federal Tax ID number
may be used.
